We are now seeking an experienced, results-oriented, and influential Sales Leader to join our team and spearhead the growth of our business development and sales functions.

Role Overview:
As the Head of Business Development and Sales, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our global sales team. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, setting and achieving ambitious targets, and fostering the development of future leaders within the organization. This is a hands-on position that combines strategic oversight with active client engagement and new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Team Growth: Expand the sales team across all regions in alignment with budgetary goals and strategic objectives.

Target Achievement: Set, track, and meet both personal and team sales targets, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.

Team Management: Oversee and appraise global sales teams, providing leadership and support to ensure high performance and achievement of sales objectives.

Procedure Development: Establish and implement new standard operating procedures to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.

Training and Development: Design and execute a comprehensive training schedule for new business developers, including mentoring and developing future leaders.

Client Interaction: Maintain a hands-on approach with direct client engagement, developing new business opportunities and nurturing existing relationships.

Experience and Skills Required:

Proven Recruitment Experience: At least 5 years of experience in recruitment, with a strong track record of managing and building successful teams.

Sales Success: Demonstrated ability to consistently hit targets and drive sales performance.

Senior-Level Liaison: Experience working and collaborating with senior-level stakeholders.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the life sciences industry is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.
